New Year's Eve 2015 Marathon Dublin? 4 Real?

    Anyone know of a marathon (or half eve) on NYE held in Dublin? I heard some mention that there was one and it included the Royal Canal (the nor' side). Nothing on http://www.runireland.com/events/2015-12

    (Love to end out the year with a good run...)

    The one along the Royal Canal is called Lock Up the Year Marathon.

    just looking at race now as i want to run a marathon before year end and was meant to be running clon. but see it limited to 50 people and its not timed and is self supporting

    Did it last year, didn't know what to expect but worked out fine. Went with trail shoes, the right choice with the weather and a soggy bit between Enfield and Kilcock. Second coachload of half marathon join in, so not as desolate as it sounds.
