Lads i don't know if it happened anyone else. I bought Microsoft Office and used Excel and word for doing some work at home.

I updated last night and this morning Microsoft Office needs to be downloaded again and all the work i done is gone.

Has anyone had this issue and know any solution?

I have read that you have to get MS Office again, install using your existing key. All the data is still on your system so nothing "should" be lost.

If you did an upgrade rather than a wipe and install there should be a directory on the root of the HD called Windows.old. Your files should be in there if you dig around.
