Everyone needs to stop being depressing. I heard from my cousin's neighbour's boyfriend's cat that Cooney has already signed a 3 year deal, punditarena will be along with the exclusive soon.

Any word on what's wrong with Ronaldson yet?

Does Cooneys gf live in Galway?

Lam said that he aggravated his quad during the warm up, which is why Cooney was taking the kicks. He's likely to miss this weeks match.

Wasps suffering from a near Connacht-esque injury crisis is something else.

Doesn't rule him out for CC, which is unexpctedly good. If the 3 Wasps players + Daly are confirmed out, I dare say we have a little chance!

    They're also missing Haskell AFAIK

whatever team Wasps put out, it will be a good one, have no fear of that.

Definitely out of the Connacht game I believe, targeting a comeback in the new year.

So a good buffet of sub-par seafood and they'll be struggling to field 15?

    That's very interesting
of course they won't be a bad team but without Daly,   and maybe Gopperth, Symons Haskell, Wade and Eastmond, that's pretty different

    yeah sorry I edited
Anyway Eliot Daly out for both games, it's open-bar for Bundee in midfield :D

An open-bar for Bundee is the last thing we need :p

Any chance there is a home connaught game first weekend in Feb? See from the website some dates for games not confirmed?

Most likely not unfortunately. On the weekend of the 10th of Feb we are away to Cardiff. Our match before that is away to Toulouse in the Champions cup

    Squad update

Craig is the only new injury worry. Griffin had surgery and is out til March. Healy back in full training

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,695 ✭✭✭BrokenMan

Niyi on a weeks break after the internationals but not Tiernan.

Then Healy to start with Kelleher or Ili on the  wing?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,695 ✭✭✭BrokenMan

Yeah Healy and Kelleher on the wings I'd imagine. Just surprised that one is being rested and not the other.

Maybe IRFU read the original teamsheet for Cardiff match and thought TOH was rested :P

Ciaran Gaffney played for Galwegians seconds at the weekend. Didn't play full game but played 50 mins or so.

Kurtley Blade and Haskell are closer to return than I thought. Mid December. We should escape from both, and it's massive...

I know, but if they regularly come to coach the 1st and Academy squad McCoy/O'Donnell/Menuargia/Soroka will be ahead of McGrath/Furlong within two years :p

Not necessarily all ex players dont always make great coaches. Whitey might even decide after a bit that coaching isnt for him

They were supposed to broadcast Ulster v Zebre in Belfast last weekend so presumably they can broadcast away matches.

    They need a host broadcaster.

The other point to note is that you would need a satellite dish capable of picking it up which I presume none of us have.

So on a number of fronts, no.

Tell me the source of these rumours so that I might judge the likelihood of them being true.

Because in 24 hours I'm going to be reading this in the comments section in the42, by the weekend it'll be on Pundit Arena, then in a week or two Ruadhri O'Connor will declare that Sale are "preparing a sensational swoop".

All based on your post on Boards.

I don't think you're actually "in the know", so if you read it on another message board, tell us where.

If you're not willing to do that, don't bother posting.

A player like him will always attract interest. The key to him staying for me is Joe. A future in a green jersey and not a Connacht one is crucial. He will get way more money abroad.

Oh come on don't be upset. No point to spread fake rumour from me.
I just hope we can keep him. That's it.

Agree but as good as he is Healy/Killicoyne are prefered by Joe :(
