Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    For the moment :pac:

    Doesn't matter at first anyway

. If two or more Teams finish with the same number of league points, their placings will be determined by the following criteria in descending order:
    • number of matches won

Yep. And with 6 bonus points, Connacht are already in danger of falling at that hurdle.

Glasgow is two wins behind. If They win two more than Connacht, they'll be ahead by points anyway. VERY few chances we have the same total of points and victories. Difference doesn't matter, then, IMO

Connacht play its season starting Scarlets home. This game + 6 nation period have to be 5 wins in the end of March. Then one last effort and HCup is in the pocket

Is tg4 player region locked? I can never remember.

Unsure but you'll know come 2PM :) If not then the game is on S4C (Which is on Sky TV) and on the BBC iPlayer as well.

Yeah I can get it on S4C but I'd rather listen to the commentary I can make some sense of :p

Have they not got the English feed on the red button?

I don't have sky but I'm in the UK so I can use the s4c player, no red button on it unfortunately.

Try BBC Radio Wales or the iPlayer; they may have commentary.

Watching it & listening out of sync drives me mad. Don't think you can get the English commentary on any player unfortunately.

Just taking a look now and it looks like tg4 might not be region locked so I could be in luck.

    They do.

Rules query from a ruck there : 'supporting your own weight' when on your feet and reaching for the ball : is one of your own team mates holding you so that you dont tip forward off your feet legal ?

That pass was thrown about 5 yards before the line and basically caught on it.

    A penalty then immediately after.

Downward pressure IMO. Should and could have been given as a try

First "grounding" was a knock on unfortunately. Therefore second grounding didn't matter.

That's an awful pity as a try and conversion with a man in the bin would have been fantastic

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 9,257 ✭✭✭Hagz

I was just about to comment how Connacht were getting the rub of the green with the touch call and the knock on call, but then they get a try robbed from them. That was a try, and even if it wasn't grounded it went back and he grounded it again. Even the touch judge who was watching the screen was saying the same thing. Poor call from the TMO.

Even if the TMO thought it was a knock on it still should have been Connacht's scrum from the original Scarlets knock on.

He certainly cant have grounded it twice. The second time, since he did touch it before that, would have to be a knock on. The first one is the debatable knock on or try.

No try for me overall. Giving that would be just too loose.

Listening on Galway Bay. Commentator sounded like he had just inhaled a load of helium after the decision.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,293 ✭✭✭MarinersBlues

Even if he didn't touch it down the first time it didn't go forward so the second touch down was good.

    Sickened.

They are playing great stuff though.

Even if he didn't ground it the first time he knocked it backward, then grounded it.

    Comical

    Why ?

A close call. Due a TMO. Reviewed. Correct decision made by TMO.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,071 ✭✭✭✭wp_rathead

Scarlets hands in ruck then downward pressure by Masterson then ball went back and downward pressure again
    Decision = No Try
    :):):)

Correct me if I'm wrong but it's any downward pressure? It's a sickening call and the wrong one imo

Shocked, cant believe these officials. Some strange calls did go our way earlier, but not sure what highlights they were watching there.
