Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Beyond stupid, belt that ball down the pitch! Moronic

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,076 ✭✭✭✭vienne86

    Now that was brainless.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,395 ✭✭✭✭Utopia Parkway

Just kick it down their end and make them have to score from distance.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,480 ✭✭✭✭cson

    Silly.

Red. Thats so stupid. With all the hard work done and looked like they were getting out of jail in a game that they should have won comfortably.

    Nothing in that

    It's very clearly a penalty

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,661 ✭✭✭Crimsonforce

    Nothing much in that

    That's that so

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,258 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

Connacht's own stupidity costing them the game.

    Beyond moronic.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 9,257 ✭✭✭Hagz

No way is it red. But it is a yellow. And it is utterly brainless.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,813 ✭✭✭CMOTDibbler

    That's very harsh

Loughney you thick. That could have blown it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,071 ✭✭✭✭wp_rathead

    So stupid from Loughney

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,818 ✭✭✭Inspector Coptoor

This is like Connacht from 2-3 years ago.
I can't believe that for stupidity

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,290 ✭✭✭aimee1

    What he do?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,076 ✭✭✭✭vienne86

That was inexcusable from Loughney. Awful for his team mates.

If only one of them lifted, it wouldn't have been a penalty at all

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,813 ✭✭✭CMOTDibbler

Similar situation in the Leinster match and just a penalty.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,395 ✭✭✭✭Utopia Parkway

Had to kick it down the field then. Looking to hold onto the ball inside your own 22 is mental.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,813 ✭✭✭CMOTDibbler

    Keep the ball

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,767 ✭✭✭✭molloyjh

    That's very harsh

It isn't. The laws are the laws and it was a brain dead move. Yellow is the correct call. I've been watching the second half on and off and Connacht have been consistently shooting themselves in the foot from what I've seen.

  • Subscribers Posts: 41,873 ✭✭✭✭sydthebeat

Connacht were their own worst enemies today, discipline not good enough

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,813 ✭✭✭CMOTDibbler

    Couldn't keep the ball!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,395 ✭✭✭✭Utopia Parkway

So angry. How can you throw away a game like that.

    What an idiot

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,805 ✭✭✭Swan Curry

That last turnover looked fairly dodgy

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 9,257 ✭✭✭Hagz

This match feels like it may be the deciding factor at the end of the season.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,899 ✭✭✭✭BBDBB

    Harsh on conn, hard lines

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 15,238 ✭✭✭✭Diabhal Beag

****sake. They threw that away sadly.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,076 ✭✭✭✭vienne86

What a disappointment in the end.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 37,978 ✭✭✭✭irishbucsfan

FFS Connacht that was just braindead. Throwing away points.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,395 ✭✭✭✭Utopia Parkway

Lot of games to go yet but that could be a season defining result.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,076 ✭✭✭✭vienne86

That game was there for Connacht with two minutes to go. Only themselves to blame.

Would have had taken the LBP

Stream on S4C is gone loco, I had to abandon it. Is that game over? What did Lougney do?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,071 ✭✭✭✭wp_rathead

The player never left the ground. It was hardly dangerous.

We will regret that **** up at the end of the season. We let an awful Scarlets side off the hook through our own stupidity. Absolutely gutted and disgusted in equal measure.

    I'm feel ill

I hope Pat gives the lads serious hairdryer treatment after that. Proper discipline and that match would have been in the bag.

How not to execute an exit strategy from a restart when you are winning with 2 minutes to go. I'm absolutely dumbfounded.

True but its still the laws.

That's beside the point that is a 6 point swing to Scarlets which should never have happened.

  • Registered Users Posts: 663 ✭✭✭Funk It

We got some favorable calls for a couple lineouts, i thought we were unlucky to not be awarded the disallowed try (should have at least got a penalty though).

    Absolutely gutted with the result.
