Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Another score while the guys are in the bin would be good now. Scarlets still look dangerous with ball in hand.

If a ball spills out a ruck, you can bet your last euro Masterson will jump on it.

Discipline needed and denying Scarlets the BP

Bit of support for carty and that could have been delish.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,047 ✭✭✭Bazzo

Nice break from Carty there, too bad there was nobody supporting so he had to kick it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,076 ✭✭✭✭vienne86

Connacht still pedantic when they pass along the line.....predictable. I would worry about the Scarlets reading it and intercepting.

    thats some scrum

Going for the corner there? Seemed kickable. The TBP must be on the mind. Great return from the maul so far so hopefully it comes off.

    Rodney! BP already!

17 minutes on the clock, well in control and need only one more try. Time to go for the jugular.

If Ulster are wondering who to pop the ball to next season 5m from the opposition line after Williams leaves, they may have just seen their answer....

    Rodney!!!!

30-10. Hard to see Scarlets coming back from this.

    Wonderful display by the forwards.

Would be top of the table for a while if the score line stays like this.

    Savage display.

Tiernan, shame he didn't go outside.

Someone get a GIF ready of that Buckley out the backdoor pass.

    Wprathead I'm looking at you

This is going to leave the Scarlets with 1 win from their last 8. Their season is in complete free fall; would expect them to fall out of ECC qualification at this rate.

Rodney preparing for ulster with the beard.

It would've been such a Connacht thing to do to let the head drops after the VdM try but they've toasted Scarlets. Hopefully can get another try on the board (selfish).

Their indiscipline has killed them in this game......and others too.

Just a knock on. Sky commentators calling for a yellow!

This is great news for all the Irish provinces.

Yeah looked totally accidental in the tackle to me, they seem sure it was intentional!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,076 ✭✭✭✭vienne86

Connacht need to concentrate here. Don't give them a chance. And don't get a card for heaven's sake.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,300 ✭✭✭freyners

I actually agree. Toh knew well what he was doing there. Played it beautifully

  • Registered Users Posts: 441 ✭✭hogandrew

    Big kick here

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,076 ✭✭✭✭vienne86

That try was coming. Out wide, so difficult conversion. Not over yet though.

Muldoon was in the bin there if they didn't score they try.

    Criminal truck and trailer.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,076 ✭✭✭✭vienne86

That was a great kick, in fairness.

Come on Connacht - keep them out.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,290 ✭✭✭aimee1

connacht need to just keep shape here

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,258 ✭✭✭✭Buer

Connacht gone to sleep in the last 10 minutes. Need to be very sensible and just slow the game right down now. Scarlets will thrive if the ball is being flung around.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,076 ✭✭✭✭vienne86

Denis Buckley MOTM - well deserved. He had a grea game.

That was stupid to pass that forward. Another chance for Scarlets.

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,258 ✭✭✭✭Buer

Didn't look forward to me at all.

With that said, why are Connacht looking to push it wide early in their own half with 3 minutes on the clock?! Absolute opposite of what they should be doing.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,076 ✭✭✭✭vienne86

Aki might have single-handedly saved Connacht conceding the LBP there. Great tackle.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,047 ✭✭✭Bazzo

Aki puts in a monster hit at the perfect time. Buckley very well deserved man of the match.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,076 ✭✭✭✭vienne86

    Bloody card!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,076 ✭✭✭✭vienne86

Phew! In touch. TG! Well done Connacht!

    Great defence in the end.

    Massive result

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,047 ✭✭✭Bazzo

Closed out leaving them nothing, brilliant!

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,258 ✭✭✭✭Buer

Thank f*ck. Complete lack of leadership in the last 15 minutes but superb opening hour for a deserved BP win.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,076 ✭✭✭✭vienne86

Henshaw stayed on for the full 80 I think - thought he'd be pulled at 60.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,442 ✭✭✭its_phil

As nervous as I was at the end of Brive, Scarlets away games. That was brilliant. We're a different team at home.

Also, Denis Buckley is in the conversation for most in-form LH this season.
