Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    YYYYYYYYEEEEEEESSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pretty awful defence there that's the 2nd try where they left big gaps under the posts

Who is the ref in this game? He looks about 12.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,816 ✭✭✭Tigerandahalf

4 tries and the bonus in the bag. Connacht can do some serious try scoring but loose in defence.
Ronaldson could be a major loss with no real kicking alternative. I don't think McGinty took kicks for US in World Cup? Who else to kick?
Always thought Ah You was soft. Big lump of a lad but doesn't come across as the brightest of players.

Ben Whitehouse one of the better refs in the pro 12

If Ronaldson in injured, and with Jack already out, we're gonna be a bit thin in that area

    Good man Muldoon. Super work!

    Loving the fields of Athenry

    Bloody great turnover by Muldoon!

Can connacht do Munster a favour and keep them out from getting losing bonus points

One of the lads mentioned his name a few pists back. I think he has a bright future. Great communicator..he reminds me a bit of Nigel Owens. For a young ref he is decisive in his decision making.

The 80 is up now......concentrate connacht!

Good communicator and decisive but he needs to learn how to read a game better. Connacht were dominant in the scrum but no penalties, their third try came off a scrum that should have been a penalty, then he starts giving scrum penalties to Edinburgh the first time they get a shove on. He's pretty good on the whole though, and we haven't lost a Pro12 game under him yet :D

Great win for Connacht - 5 points!

To my mind that should be Connacht in the final 4, even for the doubters!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,773 ✭✭✭connemara man

Well that's that. Sloppy at times glad we got the BP shame we gave away a BP

    Who got MOTM

  • Registered Users Posts: 382 ✭✭nobbo

Aly yet again putting in a serious shift. Good 5 points.

And thoroughly deserved. Really looked like league leaders this evening. That took great courage when Embra came back at them in the second half.

To be fair to him it is difficult to continually penalise a team in the scrum. Eventually the ref tries to give the lesser team more leeway as he knows they are beaten in the scrum.

Anyway Denis Buckley and Muldowney showed again why they should be playing with Ire. Buckley is well ahead of Healy and he is brilliant at the breakdown. Muldowney is just Mr Consistency..he is a 7 or 8 out of 10 every week. Not spectacular but he does the basics of a 2nd rower very well. He has been player of the year thus far.

At least once every game, he usually gets told to jog on by the ref and leaves it but I dunno why he bothers trying.

He got a turnover very recently from v scarlets.

It's mainly to slow the ball down though

Well deserved too. I wasn't sold on him for a while but he's put in some cracking performances in the last few weeks.

Munster fans aren't even in a Munster crowd these days.

Buckley again raising his hand for an Ireland call up. Heenan getting back to his bed and Ayy-Jay splitting open the defence numerous times.

At a time when everyone's worried about **** rugby being played to a rigorous blueprint, Connacht are the perfect anecdote to a Uncle Joe's Moneyball game or one of the Jobbridge coaches elsewhere.

Robbo I take it you did not have money on the over 1.5 tries

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,204 ✭✭✭Billysays no

a bonus point win. ya got to love that.

in recent times i find it interesting that there is zero comment on team selection other than the one or two changes. we have a really solid base to our team. it makes me feel yip doodly dandy. to get a 5 pointer. heaven

I threw a few sneaky quid on -4.5 and a load of small bets on first try scorers. Was sweating a bit at the end there. None of the try scorers came through.

Again, inferring your own meaning on posts.

I was obviously asking a question and someone was kind enough to answer it. You do your fellow Connacht fans a disservice with your nasty attitude.
