Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I moaned about that 2nd row cover yesterday, a junior player whos a specialist is better than make-and-do

Getting sick of all the Ryan hate on boards atm. Way over the top. It seems like people think it is the cool bandwagon to be on.

    Couldn't agree more.

Sticking the boot in before he even gets a touch, I don't understand that sort of miserable spite.

    Scrum has been desperate today.

    New props, same outcome.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,229 ✭✭✭A-Train

I know we have a back row in the 2nd row but our scrum has gone to pot this season.

  • Moderators, Arts Moderators Posts: 35,508 Mod ✭✭✭✭pickarooney

Well Ross, Healy and Triggs aren't the root cause of that muck scrum.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,225 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

Pen try coming up on recent scrum form.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,264 ✭✭✭✭Fireball07

Attacking scrum 5m out- penalty try on the cards if Leinster don't buck up.

That line-out wasn't even remotely straight. Why do they never ping that when team go to the front?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,661 ✭✭✭Crimsonforce

I know I said earlier that front three were getting minced and called for them to be changed..
Now what I meant was change whole lot in the front 8

    Pen try after one scrum??

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,264 ✭✭✭✭Fireball07

Was that definitely going to be a try? Probably, I suppose.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,616 ✭✭✭✭errlloyd

With their front row standing up right.

Shocking just shocking, scrum is a farce.

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,767 ✭✭✭✭molloyjh

In most scrums that would be called as both front rows going up and reset. Both popped up at the same time.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,225 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

Irish scrum was rock solid at the World Cup with mostly the same props on the pitch. Now we're getting reamed.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,384 ✭✭✭✭Utopia Parkway

Are Bath known as a strong scrummaging side? Doing a right number on Leinster today anyway.

Doesn't have to be a repeat offence. Right call imo

Yeah I reckon your right, nothing out there today has suggested that they will change the current score line

Forwards or backwards doesn't matter a damn. There has to be an infringement for a penalty. Both front rows popped up at exactly the same time.

Leinster are utterly lacking in energy and look totally toothless, listless and apathetic. Need a miracle to turn this around.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,616 ✭✭✭✭errlloyd

Good chance there, teo drops it.

Got to remember the internationals are still only just back and our centres have only played together twice. We have an issue in the forwards though. I don't know where the problems are in the scrum, front or second row, but that's 2 weeks in a row where we've been dominated there.

Listless is exactly what I'm thinking.

Meanwhile Bakkies Botha misses a conversion against Argentina.

If you can't score a try in your opening 2 games, you deserve to be out. No question about that.
