Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

What a try! Brilliant carry from Van Der Flier.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,225 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

Best bit of play all season.

Van Der Flier, McGrath and Tracy all pivotal.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,229 ✭✭✭A-Train

Yes get in, the impact with McGrath coming on, unreal.

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,767 ✭✭✭✭molloyjh

McGrath should have been starting, that was wonderful. VDF great there too. Even Tracy earlier with the break. COME ON LEINSTER!

Excellent. Why wait until just over 10 minutes to get the finger out though.

What a try from VDF fair play to him.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,616 ✭✭✭✭errlloyd

Tracy hits the line out, makes huge carries. McGrath makes good passes. Vdf scores.

Still enough time to win this now.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,433 ✭✭✭✭thomond2006

Psycho Niko and Priestland on the pitch....Leinster can take this.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,264 ✭✭✭✭Fireball07

Leinster scrum penalty! I know Bath replaced their LH, but that was so much better.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,229 ✭✭✭A-Train

What a time to pull that scrum out

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,616 ✭✭✭✭errlloyd

Going for goal, on his gammy leg?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,225 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

Is this really in Sexton's range?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,805 ✭✭✭Swan Curry

Not a hope of getting this

Terrible call to go for the posts.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,225 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

    Bad decision in hindsight.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,616 ✭✭✭✭errlloyd

    Sigh

    Dreadful decision making

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,767 ✭✭✭✭molloyjh

Needed to go down the line and show a bit of patience. We were getting on top and we've just given momentum back to them. I'm actually furious at that call from Johnny and Isa.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,225 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

In fact that's an awful decision in hindsight.

We had a few good drives from a maul in the first half yet we go for the posts inside our own half?

    Poor

I backed Leinster to score more than 10.5 @ 4/5 at H-T. More or less ends my interest in this match.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,616 ✭✭✭✭errlloyd

    So bloody dumb.

  • Registered Users Posts: 161 ✭✭Triumvirate

Bizarre and wasteful call from Nacewa and Sexton. That had to go down the line.

Both front rows up at the same time again so why is it a penalty to Bath?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,742 ✭✭✭✭AdamD

    Game losing call now

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,229 ✭✭✭A-Train

A terrible decision, going to pay for it now with the match, after another scrum pen. Terrible terrible call

  • Registered Users Posts: 161 ✭✭Triumvirate

And penalty to Bath resulting from the poor Leinster decision.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,433 ✭✭✭✭thomond2006

That's too far away to go for a 'kick to nothing', if that makes any sense!

That call now looks so so costly.

  • Registered Users Posts: 161 ✭✭Triumvirate

It wasn't even a touch and go decision, Sexton has never had that range. 56m....that would be at the range limit of even a big kicker.

At worst the ball needs to go dead so that the ball cannot be ran back.

    COME ON LEINSTER!!!!!!

Yeah that always looked at the extreme edge of Sexton's range. Especially in cold damp weather. Poor decision to go for it.

Suddenly Leinster have a shot at this.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,742 ✭✭✭✭AdamD

    Utterly pathetic performance

Too focused on what Bath were doing than what they should have been doing.

    ANd opportunity lost

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,225 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

    Complete failure in systems.

But to be honest we were second best all game anyway. Set piece demolished and players outdone.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 24,375 ✭✭✭✭Larbre34

Disgraceful lack of organisation and energy again. Chances squandered

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,616 ✭✭✭✭errlloyd

I think throwing to their second row in a line out we didn't even a lift player for sums it up nicely.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,229 ✭✭✭A-Train

Leinster are brain dead,no leaders on that pitch, shocking line out. A lot of them players have to take a good hard luck at themselves, because they are shocking. Sexton what were you thinking???

Also god I hate watching matches on BT, they have a jinx on us, also BOD really sold his soul working for them, or maybe he is just that bland.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,384 ✭✭✭✭Utopia Parkway

    Leinster set-piece is dire.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,433 ✭✭✭✭thomond2006

    The lineout...

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,767 ✭✭✭✭molloyjh

It's not all bad. That penalty try was very harsh and there was small margins here and there that could have made a difference. The biggest disappointment of all was that decision to go for the posts at the end. That was awful. We just need to keep our heads and build from here. We need to trust the young lads more and they showed that today when they came on.
