So the missus has cut the power cord on the lawnmower, right in the middle so I'm not going to attempt to repair it. Does anyone know any bricks-and-mortar store in the Dublin (3) area that would carry spares? I see a few on eBay / Amazon but happy to make a trip out somewhere to buy one locally.

    Thanks,

    Yakuza.

    Hi Yakuzza,

If it is just needs to be rejoined I would use http://www.woodiesdiy.com/Product/5-amp-2-pin-flex-connector/11437/1.6.7. That is assuming the rating is correct and I guess where the join needs to be.

Now I have no doubt you could cut back the wires and join them and cover them in tape, might not be a safe long term solution.

The alternative is to go to http://powertoolhub.ie/ in Brooks of the long mile road, and I think ask for John? He sorted me out for something similar in past. A safe and proper job and not too pricey!

    Wally.
