Urgent replacement of a corrupt bank card

    Hi,
     
    I have been experiencing issues with my BOI VISA debit card since Saturday 21/11/15. It is not working at ATM or chip and pin.
     
    I am heading abroad on the 01/12/15 and due to having no other bank card to withdraw cash or pay for purchases, I am depending on my VISA debit card to be working for my trip. I explained the urgency of the situation and was informed that there was no way to get a new card issued any quicker than 7-10 working days. Do BOI not have a procedure for resolving an urgent situation such as this?

    The time frame given is correct and regrettably, we do not have a express service for sending a card. The card maybe with you prior to your travel date however, we would be unable to guarantee this.
