    Hi,

    Is it possible to set up multiple direct debits from different bank of ireland accounts into a childsave account or can it only be from one designated account?

    thanks

    Good Afternoon John Magic,

    Thanks for getting in touch with us here on Boards.ie

    Child Saver accounts can only be set up with one direct debit depositing into it. You can however, make extra deposits yourself. One way to do this would be via standing orders. Each account holder wishing to deposit into the account can set up the standing order using the BIC & IBAN of the child saver a/c. These can be set up online or in branch.

    If you do not want to make these extra payments on a regular basis and you are set up for online banking, the Child Saver account can be added as a payee to your online profile, and money can be transferred whenever you wish. Alternatively, you can visit a branch a make a lodgement whenever suits you.

    I hope this answers your query if you have any further questions please don't hesitate to contact us here. If you would like to read more about the child saver or any of our other savings accounts please see here;

    Thanks,

    Evie
