    Hi,

We had been hoping to get Springbreak or Smash Hits for our wedding but they are not available. Basically looking for good recomendations of a band that will get people up dancing and a bit of craic.

Has anybody seen at The Mixtape perform or any other ideas?

    Thanks a mil

have you posted in the bands sticky at the top of this forum, all the bands mentioned here are in there somewhere. Unless a band are absolutely terrible people (there are a few) will think they were good at their wedding.

We also booked The Mixtape for our wedding, we went to a showcase they had set up which really helped to get an idea of how they will sound on the night. At the showcase they played about a minute of a song and move onto another one. I believe they have another coming up in January.

Also after we booked them I found out a friend had them at her wedding and she loved them, our wedding planner also thinks they are great, so hopefully we have booked wisely!

Pump Up the Jam (90s tribute band) could not recommend them enough, people still talk about them as the highlight of our wedding and weddings they've gone to over the years.
