Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Got a link? I think these kind offers just show up on certain Amazon user pages, they arent for everyone and not everyone is eligible.

How does this work? Can the £37 then be spent on one thing? Is it only stuff sold by Amazon or does it work on everything on the site?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,200 ✭✭✭moonboy52

Only stuff that is directly sold by Amazon.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 370 ✭✭sk282

In order to qualify for the £7 promotional code, you must: (1) have held an Amazon.co.uk account as of 3 November, 2015; and (2) have received the offer invitation directly from Amazon.co.uk, either via e-mail or on the Amazon.co.uk website...

    Full T&C

Do you mind me asking where you find your offers in the amazon apo, can't seen to find it. Thanks!

Also this doesn't qualify for free delivery! Deal breaker for me personally.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,958 ✭✭✭_Whimsical_

Everytime I do not qualify for one of these promotions I feel less and less inclined towards them.
Why will you not love me amazon??

  • Registered Users Posts: 806 ✭✭✭bored_newbie

It worked for me. The last few didn't.

Not eligible either. I can't see the offer in the app. I was eligible the last time it happened. Oh well :)

Did you buy the £30 voucher, yeah?

You don't get sent an email for qualifying...you have to buy the £30 minimum voucher first, and then you should also receive the free £7 one also.

If you qualify, simply buy the £30 min vouchers...choose the "email" version and you should hopefully be sent it within 5 minutes !!

I found out today the reason i did not qualify is that i bought a gift card in the last 2 years.

Probably the same for others in the same boat

Qualified, bought a £30 digital gift card but have not received a £7 promo code. Has this happened anyone else?

It says they'll send the code in 2 days after purchasing.

Yep. I hadn't received the email about the offer, but followed the link (which appeared for me in the app), bought the £30 gift card, but haven't gotten the £7. Hopefully it'll appear but no biggie if not. I had to buy stuff anyway. Worth a shot.

IIRC In the T&C it says that you'll receive the £7 voucher within 2 days.

Can someone point me to the link please?

    Not see it anywhere.

    Thanks.

Was just going to post this. Basically the £7 covers posting the gift card.

Actually you're right. Just noticed it says the £7 is sent two days after the purchase.

Can this be used for an Amazon warehouse deal?

[edit] and can someone say where you find out if you are eligible? Can't find it on the website.

For a 3rd Party Seller non-fulfilled by Amazon I've been given the option of using the remaining balance from my Gift Card.

Are you sure you cant use a new Gift Card itself with 3rd Party Sellers?

You can use your gift card on any item on Amazon, 3rd party included but the extra £7 that you get can only be used against items sold and fulfilled by Amazon.

Cheers OP, I installed the app, checked I was eligible, then placed an order for £30 printable gift card. I have a few items in my basket, just in time for Black Friday / Cyber Monday and the £7 will ease some of the exchange rate pain.

Same here. I suspect it's because I took advantage of a similar deal a few months back. I haven't been eligible for the last 2 offers that came up here.

Didn't get the email but did get it in the app(once I downloaded it) :D

Anyone know if you can get more than one £7 voucher?

By having multiple Amazon accounts that qualify for the offer.
That's about it, unless you beg one off someone else ;)

Bought the voucher and immediately used it on a purchase made the day before. Just waiting on the £7 code now.

Seriously? Had they not already taken it from your credit card?

Can anyone give clear instructions of how to check if you are eligible for this offer? Have read the thread twice and can't see this anywhere. I use Amazon all the time but have never bought a gift card so should be eligible.

    Perfect, thanks! That worked.

Last question. Can you combine the £30 and £7 to purchase a single item?

Doesn't seem like it. Part of it was already dispatched but another part hasn't. I didn't think it was going to work but thought I'd try.

Mods - any chance we can ban these threads as not applicable to most?

A bargain should be available to buy not a lottery.
