Security/Calving cameras for farm 200 meters from house

    I have just been given a quote of €1600 to supply and install 2x security cameras + 2x calving cameras to be installed in our farm yard 200 meters from our home, There is a clear line of vision between both locations. I see a 4 camera system for £295 on the internet. Looks a lot to pay for labour !!

    Would need a lot more information before comparing. Your installer may not be using the same equipment you are looking at. A lot of the cost may be down to what type of wireless transmitters & receivers are being used.

    We could be here all day making price comparisons with meat/dairy products as well but that wouldnt be fairly comparable now would it?
