Just looking at this post again; Tri bars?
    Aero helmets?
    No saddlebags/panniers ?
    Spare bikes ?
    Lights ?
    Audax event ?

Looks like one of the organisers is attempting a malin to mizen with a team to try and set a fastest time. Could be wrong

The event itself didn't roll off the start line in Kinsale until around 06:06 (due to some eejit volunteer going missing) so that might just be enough.

The German rider who finished about ~15 minutes over the official cut-off time appears to have had about 4 hours sleep since Tuesday night, according to the tracker. And is hauling a full set of panniers too.

The organisers gave an extra two hours on the cut-off due to a delay in the Tarbert-Killimer ferry crossing on Day 3, so a few more riders have made the cut.

I think those photos are from the Donegal Atlantic Way Ultra Race which started out from Letterkenny this morning.

I know a couple of lads doing it so keeping an eye on the tracking this now instead of going cold turkey:

Between that, the WAWA and the Transatlantic Way race, its all getting a little crowded this week.

Delighted for them, was watching the tracker as 1pm was approaching with two riders very close but not close enough.
