Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Lingard? Don't remember him having many chances. One where Martial let the ball roll to him but a bit off guard.

He called for that, and his first touch was fantastic but he made a bollix of it with his second

Every time I see United I'm amazed by how little Louis Van Gaal gets out of such an obviously talented group of players. Someone like Ancelotti would have them steam-rolling teams.

I think we will nick a win but you feel like there is a lot more you could be getting from this side, too much structure to the attack, lots of isolation and players seemingly unable to work freely and link up/interchange. A robotic approach, you know something is wrong when a dinosaur like Giles can point it out

Arsenal gave an example last night of not only how to hold possession but to actually use it in a meaningful way.

Schweini a bit too slow in possession.

    Finding space now.

All the years I've watched football, this is the first time you could say that United are a boring team. This is just tedious.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

    Oh god!!! Desperation already

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 27,349 ✭✭✭✭super_furry

And here could Mr Route One. Louis Van Allardyce indeed.

Off you pop and watch that.

There is a big bad internet out there showing it, if you can't find it, it's not my fault

So you think that more viewers will tune in for that than the United game.. you are off your rocker if you think that..

RTE will show the game the most people will watch, not the most "entertaining" game. A United game will always draw a bigger viewership.

    This is diabolical stuff

Possibly, neutrals would prefer that one.

They also wouldn't get the United fans viewership, the neutrals generally watch what is put in front of them.

WTF is Savage on about? Just coz he's tall doesn't mean he should completely abandon his position to get there!!

Rte isn't the only broadcast in the world.
If someone wants to watch man city, there is plenty of hd options a few clicks away

    <3 Smalling

  • Smalling you beast

Tepid stuff. Its the same patterns of play over and over again from UTD. Its very boring, predictable and easy to set up against.

    Yawn.

    Ridiculous pass from Fellaini

Ashley Young has an unusual amount of mental strength, surprised his united career has lasted so long.

true, its all about the viewership and advertising. but if Utd don't entertain the neutrals tuning in then they'll switch off. Fellaini is on now so its not going to make for pretty viewing

edit:even Hamilton and Beglin have called it boring now

Instilled in him at Watford when they were gonna let him go for being too slight. That would make or break a player!

They should have done much better there.
    Off the hook a bit.

We need to get our act together here. Very poor second half performance

We really are brainless up front when Mata's not on.

    Rooney is so predictable.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,508 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Crinklewood

If United score will George and Jim acknowledge the goal?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

Fellaini just strolling back there. He is such a waste.

    Get mata on now.

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,292 ✭✭✭Adamocovic

Jesus I haven't been near the thread and don't know if it has been mentioned but listening to Jim and George the past hour or so has been some of the most unbearable stuff I have had to endure (poor performances over the previous 2 years included :P).

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 31,948 ✭✭✭✭Mars Bar

We would be bollixed without Smalling and De Gea

Dire stuff, everyone is walking out with the ball. No pace to the play at all

Ah fcuk it. Bad state of affairs when our centre backs are our best and most attack mines passers

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,924 ✭✭✭KH25

    Lingard's finishing is shocking.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,689 ✭✭✭sky88

Lingard composure and finishing has been terrible tonight

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,576 ✭✭✭deaddonkey15
