    Intel® Core™ i3-5020U with Intel® HD Graphics 5500 (2.2 GHz, 3 MB cache, 2 cores)

    Would the above be able to play Minecraft reasonably OK? and would it handle anything more demanding than that?

    It should run MC pretty decently although you may have to reduce the draw distance and resolution for decent framerates.
    It won't play modern, graphic intense gaames at playable framerates excelpt on lowest settings.
