I got a text from meteor yesterday saying they will be introducing HD calling in the couple of weeks and that it will work for anyone on a HD compatible phone calling anyone on the meteor or eir network. I've never heard this before, does anyone experienced HD voice calling in action and will it work on most android phones…

does hd voice call require lte or 3g to work?

It requires 3G to work (minimum) and pretty much all new smartphones released in the last 18 months would support it.
