    Hi
I'm looking for recommendations for good authentic Thai food in Dublin. I've a Aussie friend coming to visit who has a passion for Thai food. TIA

Saba on Clarendon Street is very nice but Diep Le Shaker on Pembroke Lane is the nicest I have eaten in Dublin. Chili Club on Annes Lane also worth a look.

Koh just beside the Jervis Luas - quality cocktails as well.

Siam thai in Dundrum and Baan thai in Ballsbridge are very good.

Toss'd in chq is great too, but mora a take away type of place.

For a takeaway my two favourites are Siam in Ranelagh and Kanum (one in Rathgar and one on Mespil Rd.).

For a nice meal out, Red Torch Ginger on St. Andrew St. is lovely, as is Koh which was already mentioned.

Although the interior doesn't look like much, Mi Thai in Stoneybatter does very nice food either to eat in or take away.

I haven't been to Saba, but never heard a bad word about it. There's also Thai Spice just off Talbot St. (down the dodgy end!) which again I haven't been to but heard several good reports about it.

Your Aussie friend is about to be disappointed, there is nothing in Dublin even approaching the quality or authenticity of Thai places in OZ/NZ
