    Technically, they may not have received the email - just because it's in your Sent Box doesn't actually mean they got it - depending on your email provider/client you can add a 'Read Receipt' which you get when the email is opened.

    That aside, what do their T&C's say regarding any notice of cancellation, is 3 days enough?

    Yep - I agree. Email is great, but my point is sometimes they may not get delivered, and this is completely outside the senders control

    I don't actually, I just know a little about how email works :)

    You've removed the original question, but you don't have any way of proving they received your email, to cancel the subscription. I think you don't have a leg to stand on, unless thats the *only* way they take cancellation notices. If there are other methods such as a web form or snail mail, you should use those, and consider it not cancelled, unless you receive a confirmation.
