Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    This ref would give a free for farting in the general vicinity of an opposing player. Very soft frees and penalties given.

    I agree with you in relation nice to see it penalised but we do see it happen time and time again. If we were winning 1-0 or 2-1 people be on cursing him if he did not keep it as long. He can't win. I think it is a bit harsh on people here on Mignolet yes he is not good enough and needs to go but my god he gets some over reaction of abuse on these threads.

    You cant hold a player in the box, same as you cant hold onto the ball for more than 6 seconds if your a keeper, I agree it was soft but to the letter of the law its a peno. And this ref is to the letter of the law by the looks of things.

    Over 20 seconds is taking the piss way too much though. 10 or even 15 seconds is usually tolerated. It's not like the ref blew the whistle after 8 seconds or anything.

    Every corner we'll get a penalty so ya? The letter of the law excuse doesn't fly. Mignolet completely took the piss with holding onto the ball, there was nothing clear about the penalty at all.
