Hi Conmulligan.

Sometimes it takes a little longer for the Euro price to catch up on our site. Sometimes it also reflects our closest competitors Euro pricing.

The Sony 55 is an in-store only special as part on Black Friday and can not be shipped unfortunately.

If any product online is purchased in sterling then your bank would work out the conversion. Most of our Euro pricing when converted are in fact cheaper than the sterling, with the odd exception.

The Sony KD55X8509 has dropped to €1499 - at the moment I don't see it going below that - but of course our pricing does include a 6 year warranty and delivery is included anywhere in Ireland.

Of course if you can find it cheaper anywhere in Ireland we will happily price beat subject to our normal T's and C's.

(BTW: You can purchase on our site in either euro OR sterling - so whichever price you prefer or you think works out cheapest for you - but if you do purchase in sterling do be careful of the charges that you Credit Card company makes for the currency conversion - its normally pretty expensive, whilst we guarantee our advertised euro prices.)
