apologies for the delay getting back to you - we are playing catch up at the moment, apologies
Do you have a rough budget - as you probably know there is a fairly huge price range - if you give us an indication we will get back to you asap,

Cheers for the reply - ideally looking to keep it under €1500 but could go over depending on how future proof the TV is. My current assumptions are because I don't want to wall mount a curved is not ideal - a little clueless on 4k vs SUHD. When I look at samsungs for example not sure of differences between 6series, 7series, 8series TV's.
I'm probably looking for best screen quality for under €1500 in a 55 inch non curved unit to be honest.

looking at deciding between the Samsung 55JU9000 or the LG EG910 or LG EG930 - really struggling to decide between the 4k and OLED. like the viewing angle aspect of OLED. Is there a significant downside to not going with 4k - reading a lot around banding issues and tinting issues on the OLED screens.0 -

The Samsung 55JU9000 is top of the range as far as LED goes.
The OLED is a different ball game when it comes to black levels and contrast ratio.
I suppose the down side of not going 4k is you will not be able to view the content once its becomes more wider available.
Everyone has different tastes. I have a Pioneer Plasma and now that Plasma has gone I would need to go OLED to be happy with moving from Plasma.
The best thing would be to try and get and see the OLED up and running and see how you like it.
Pricing ways:
Samsung 55JU9000 coming in at £1899 - In store only - Also includes a £150 trade of old TV (LED or Plasma) dropping in to £1749.00

LG 55EG910 coming in at £1799.00

The LG 55EG930 priced at £1609.00
