    Galway Tribal Radio will be the city’s official not-for-profit, multi-cultural Community Radio Station. Hundreds of volunteers from all demographics will work together to Empower, Educate and Entertain our listeners.
    The station will provide Galway City with a live forum for public participation in delivering diverse uncensored/non-biased local news, debate of public issues on-air.
    “Where commercial radio is designed to broadcast to people or talk at people and garner an audience, community radio is about a community speaking to itself and giving people that chance to participate, to be part of it and shape their own community and address problems in their community and also to be more inclusive…” (Liffey Sound volunteer).
