Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I couldn't be arsed tracking down the link to Darmain's leaked team. 66% of the time he's right all the time.

You'd think he'd have his hands full trying to liven up the utd attack as a wing back, but fair play, he still finds time to leak the Liverpool team sheet each game.

Gonna go with No Shelvey 2 - Shelvey 1

As a Liverpool football club fan I'd like it if Liverpool football club won this game of football.

Multi-tasking, fair play to the lad.

I just hope he whips out a phone and tweets news during matches, might make uniteds games watchable:)

Top top top player, considering we spent €15M on Allen then you would think Shelvey could do a job for us.

Some purple prose, some interesting statistical analysis, clubs recent form, tactical analysis

    V

    Not featuring Jonjo Shelvey

    Not on TV.

    That's a tough decision:pac:

Going to go for 3-1 to the 'Pool. I have a friend at the match with his two young lads for the first time so Klopp better deliver:(

It certainly got the youth players going, they celebrated like it was last minute league winner.

I was originally going to post his rant at Fergie but then noticed that goal.

Sturridge and Henderson on the bench?

    Good times ahead, hopefully.

Sturridge and H back on the bench is great.

I have a feeling Ibe is going to have big game. Not sure why, beyond the steady improvement and increased confidence we've seen from him the last games he's played.

No Allen is a surprise, wonder if it could be Firmino and Benteke up top

Revealing the subs first really adds a sense of anticipation.

A middle three of Can, Milner and maybe Lallana?

Can't say I'm thrilled at the prospect. Allen is no Souness, but he'd bring a bit of balance and stability to that.

    take that Darmian!

Still a better ITK than defender.

Either we are playing 442 with Firmino beside Benteke, or else we are playing Lallana in central midfield pretty much.

    4231? Could be a 4321 though.

Thought Allen would start after Klopp subbing him midweek and saying it was with the weekend in mind.

    4-2-3-1, 4-3-3, 4-3-2-1 could be any.

4231 makes the most sense, now that you say it, but a 2 of Can and Milner isn't exactly warming the cockles of my heart. There's a brain fart or two there.

If it is, at least with the work rate and pressing of Lallana and Firmino ahead it should mean less quality ball going through.
Wouldn't mind seeing Lallana a bit deeper helping out Can & Milner tbh in a 4-3-2-1

    Lovern was awful against City
He was lucky the spotlight was on result
His every touch in that game was shocking

I think we'll miss Milners work out wide.

    Any Swansea team news?

Happy with that team/bench, all things considered.

Be interesting to see what way we set up if its a midfield two then both Milner/Can are better than Allen so no complaints there, if its a midfield 3 I think Lallana will offer more than Allen in the 3.

I would have kept Shelvey instead of buying Allen... problem is that he didnt want to be a bit part player.. Klopp would do a great job on him imo

Say it took the director a while to find Sturridge.
