Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Its Sturridge

We shouldn't be risking Sturridge in this wind.

We seem to complain about Sturridge not playing by thinking he shouldn't be played. Makes no sense.

Am I alone in wanting Sturridge to do well and goes on a run and puts his injuries behind him?

What Sturridge reckons will happen when he moves on the pitch:

No but you're in the minority if you expect it.

Not expecting it but hoping for it. He was a great player for us in 13/14. Want to see that form back.

He had a world class strike partner getting double marked, creating plenty of chances for him that season. Still a great player, but he'll never play that well again without Suarez IMO.

That is very harsh. He scored some great goals. Suarez was fantastic but was not solely responsible for that title challenge. Plenty of other players involved.

So if there was no touch if the player went down why would the ref had a big decision to make Ray Hougton grrr

Want the second now to secure this. Don't trust our defence if there is a nervy ending.

Look a lot less dangerous and under a lot more pressure without Benteke.

By the way, this Gary Moore under pressure stuff is a joke. Give him a bloody chance ffs. He's done really well so far. This is his first bad spell.

A big fan of Ray but he should be restricted to commentating on Arsenal matches.

Mignolet taking over Lucas's role of getting a yellow every game.

Great to get that result. Big move up the table.
    Top 4 in sight now.

How many games was that though?

Becomes a weaker argument every week.

The point remains that, even if he does get back properly fit, massive question marks remain over his ability to reach that level of display again.

Robbie Earl on NBC doing his best Ron Burgundy.

Reminds me of Danny Glover in Lethal Weapon.

    For "Movember" no doubt.

    Two movies I've not seen.

I probably should watch Shrek though.
