How long to clear cheque from AIB?

    Hi there,

    I recently received a cheque from an AIB customer; If I were to lodge the cheque into my BOI account tomorrow (Monday), how long will it take for it to clear and have the funds in my account?

    Hi Morby,

    Thank you for contacting us here on Boards.ie.

    A domestic cheque can take up to 5 working days for funds to clear and become available on your account.
