Robbie Savage and Howard Webb there as well. No close ups of them though. :pac:

Some game of darts AGAIN, amazing how few games go to sudden death once it goes 2-2 in the final set.

I don't think there's a sport that comes close in terms of thrilling matches in comparison to darts.

Indeed. Great tv and entertainment from your armchair, if you can sit on it with the tension.

This tournament deserves a brilliant final, much more than just Van Gerwin and Taylor, real strength in depth. For me, Anderson to beat Van Barneveld in the final.

Great stuff from Barney, would love to see him win 1 more but I don't think he'll have the energy for another epic battle. Lewis to beat Wright next.

They are on the payroll at BT so Sky will never show them close up.

    Howard Webb!

    Taught that was him

Lewis should just be too strong for Wright in this one.

In fairness, there was a long time when you knew Taylor was going to win. But a number of players have raised the standard and this has been an exceptional championship

This could be the game of the tournament so far and that's saying something.

    Fancy a classic here.

This match could be another cracker. I'm edging towards Lewis.

Wright looks like a character that I use to create in the Tiger woods golf games

Delighted for Barney, what a match, to win 4 sets on the spin and then 4 legs on the spin in the last. Id love to see him win a 6th title, but think he will be burnt out for either Wright or Lewis.

Hoping for another classic with Wright/Lewis... hope it goes all the way.... This is some championship....

Can't believe bully boy didn't have a dart at least at the bull on the 122, should of made sure of the 18 and had a dart at bull. He hits bulls for fun.
Great win for Barney. Think Anderson will win it back to back now, anyone's to win tho..

    Some bull from Jackpot.

    P. Wright @ 7/2

    I'm all over that!

Can't see it, Lewis is coasting

    Only one break in it.

Lewis goes off the boil for a set and Wright is back in it.
Wright is out scoring him, uncharacteristic missed doubles costing him at the moment.

Lewis is all over the place at the moment, I thought Wright was dead and buried but he's still in this

    TbL

He's not hitting his doubles, you'd think this set is a must win.

Surely Wright just blew any chance he had.

Lewis went through a bit of a lull, expect him to pick it up now and finish it off

Wrights doubles have let him down tonight badly.
    Didn't expect that.

Lewis being pretty clinical when he needs to be.

    Wright's a choker. Hasn't the bottle

I always thought he was a bit brittle when it really counted but then again I thought Barney would lose badly to MVG :)

Was that a 125 instead of 85 from Lewis in the last leg? Seemed to be something up anyway.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,625 ✭✭✭ThebitterLemon

I think Lewis will be hard to beat.

Shoulda had the balls to back him a couple of nights ago at 8/1.

Anyone know what his odds are now?

Yeah I was 99% sure that's what I saw as well. His first two darts were right on the money.

The announcer said 85 and Lewis pulled his darts out anyway.
