    Has anyone seen one on sale for around 50?

    "Good" is subjective, but there are reductions in the Bosch Tassimo machines at the moment. They take pods, same idea as a nespresso machine.
    Dunnes were selling them for €35, Argos for €42 on Black Friday.
    Have a look online today as its Cyber Monday today. They're a good machine for the money, but bear in mind you have to spend money on pods (generally around €4 for 16 coffees, or €4 for 8 (powdered) milk based drinks that use up 2 pods.

    For comparison the cheapest Nespresso would be €77 in debenhams. Doesn't make milk based stuff like cappuccinos unless you buy a frother (€126 incl machine) but looks impressive enough and comes with 16 capsules in the box and 3 €30 off vouchers for the online store. Cappuccinos would be nicer than the Tassimo as you're using real milk in the frother rather than pods, and you'd be using 1 pod rather than 2.

    I don't know if you're looking for a pod machine or something like a filter machine.
