Virgin but I'm not happy with the price or their customer service

Was going to recommend Virgin... cheapest and best value around... also find their customer service excellent... was only on phone to them a few minutes ago and got my problem resolved v quickly.

I'd agree and you certainly won't get the same speed. Perhaps try eir, they have 100 mb efibre in parts of D15, you can check here https://www.eir.ie/eirfibreinfo/map/

Have to agree. Looked around only last week & couldn't find a provider that could match their price or service.
Anything else would be a step down IMO.

I've always been happy with Virgin too. I know you said that you're not happy with Virgin's customer service but I'd urge you to read Eir's forum on here to see what you'd be dealing if you go with them. I've read several long term threads in that forum that would put me off them for life.

I changed from UPC to Sky fibre a few months ago and deeply regret it! The Sky bb drops off god knows how many times per day, I've given up trying to watch movies on Netflix and the Apple TV and don't get me started about logging into work! I knew I was taking a reduction in speed, was on the 240MB deal with UPC down to 80MB with Sky but was promised for my usage it would be grand! Well it's not!

Same here, that's who I'd recommend. I understand some people will have issues with them, but I've always found their quality of service excellent and when I've had to contact them with issues their service has been great.

I'm thinking of changing Broadband provider, My family do a lot of things Eir won't allow, i'm sure you all know what that means, (no not porn) will virgin allow you to use the internet for what it is designed to do, ie access to whatever you want within reason
I know Eir block access to certain famous sites
as always any help greatly appreciated
    Regards
