There have been a few threads lately that referred to Capital Radio or FM104 (as it is known now).

A lot of people have passed through the station since 1989. It has always been on 104.4 but has gone through a few name changes before settling on FM104.

Here are the ones I can think of who are currently involved with other stations.

RTE (probably News/Current Affairs): Mark Costigan, Avril Hoare, Clodagh Walsh, Susan Jackson, Cathy Cregan and Patsy McGarry

2FM: Rick O'Shea, Jenny Green, Declan Pearse, Colm Hayes and Aidan Leonard (last two also with RTE Gold)

Q102: Scott Williams, Liam Coburn and Gerry Stevens.

    Spin103: Steve K

Radio Nova: Kevin Brannigan, Greg Gaughren, Marty Miller, Dee Woods, Sinead Ni Mhordha and Adrienne O'Hora

98fm: Adrian Kennedy and Jeremy Dixon

East Coast FM: Declan Meehan and Ryan O'Neill

4FM: Jim McCabe, Damien Farrelly, Suzanne Kane and Niall Boylan

Sunshine 106.8: Robbie Fogarty, Enda Murphy and Carol Dooley

KFM: Stephen Keogh and Dave McGrath

South-East Radio: Dave Redmond and Paul Rowley

Red FM: Neil Prendergast - only learnt that fact very recently!

    iRadio: Steven Cooper

Can you think of others who are now involved with other radio stations?

Daragh Maloney was with FM104 before joining RTE Sports.

I think Adrian Eames, also of RTE Sports, was with FM104 before as well. Could someone confirm this?

Yes he was there the same time as Darragh. So was Con Murphy who was with Century prior to that) and RTE for years and is with Nova now, doing TV.

Your newsreaders earlier. Susan Jackson sister, Joyce also worked in Capital at the same time infact she was Head of News.

Kevin Branigan was the production manager in 104 having taken over from Bobby O Reilly who departed to open The Farm with Locky Butler.

John Power (Noel) was there at Capital. Dunno if he still does radio. He was doing stuff for Nova at one stage.

Leon Ellison (not in radio any longer).

Dave Dennehy was on Capital. Dara O Dea was on 104 too.
