I received an email this morning from BOI informing me that my graduate account will be moving to a personal current account in February. However, since graduating I've returned to full time third level education(a PhD).

Is it possible to change the account type back to a student account? If not could I open a different account as a student account? And do i have to go in to my branch to do this?

    Thanks.

    Hi Joey,

Thanks for contacting us on Boards.

Yes it's possible to keep your account as a 3rd Level Student account. Please call into your branch with photo ID and supporting documentation from your college that confirms you are still in full time education. A branch representative will be happy to update this for you. If you need the opening hours for your branch, please see here

Please let us know if we can help with anything else.

    Thanks,
    Sarah
