    I understand its good to format an SD card from time to time. Which is the correct way; to use Windows to format or to use the device, Sony Camera's on board software to format?

    i have used sd cards for 4 years,
    i just format them once ,
    there,s no need to format them ,now and again .
    it Does no harm ,but its a waste of time .
