This is the frustration with Sturridge. One of the best strikers around and yet he hardly plays. He pops up now and again for a few games at a time to remind us (like we need reminding) what he can do.

Here is something I don't get - why do players stand 10 yard back stationary? Until the whistle blows when they could step 15 yards back and literally run at the free kicker they'd be much closer, or can the defending players not move until the whistle is blown?
