Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

Anyone have any experience on what kind of hardware is needed to run solidworks including the 3d modelling with a decent amount of components. Its a present for someone.

Are lenovo lapots good value at the minute?

Was looking at a G70-70 lenovo as it has the 17" screen for solidworks.

    Screen size - 17.3 in - 1600 x 900
    Processor - Intel Core i5 4210U - 1.7 GHz 2.7 GHz
    RAM - 8 GB
    1 TB Hard Drive
    Operating System - Windows 8.1

Its windows 8 but i assume a free upgrade to windows 10 will be easy. Let me know if something like this seems ok.

    Seen it for €600-650.

    Thanks
