Anyone know of a spare Friday ticket for sale. Can collect anywhere in Dublin or at the venue.

Shorts and wellies is the way to go. If jeans or pants get wet they take ages to dry and are uncomfortable. It's not cold so you don't need your legs covered.

Eden House not far at all from Marlay. Nice spot.

Eden House is directly across the road. However, the road will be closed for an hour after the gig ends and its a quiet enough road usually. i wouldnt be banking on getting a taxi there.

You are likely to still end up walking to Dundrum to get a taxi.

What's the ground like up there? There's hardly a need to wear wellies is there?

Probably been asked before but wheres the best place to park.... I don't mind walking 20 25 mins

Is it possible to buy a return for the marathon coach but only use the return leg back from Marley Park? I tried calling the company today but their offices were closed. Cheers if anyone knows.

Try Lamb Doyles pub - 15 min walk down the hill from there.

They give you a wrist band when you get on the bus on the way out so you will need that for the return journey

So no wrist band, no return journey, even with the ticket?

Can't say for certain you might need to contact them but it doesn't sound like it.

Much more thorough searches than there was last week for the Stone Roses, where we were just waved through unless you had a bag. Today, I had to go through security twice because the bus dropped me at the wrong entrance and both times I had to empty out my pockets and got a quick scan with a metal detector. The second time, the guy even went through my cigarette box. There were other queues where it wasn't as thorough though. Ours was moving way slower than any of the others.

It's possible, but judging by my experience you wouldn't get anything in if it's in it's original container.

Its luck of the draw with who you get searching you. I didn't get searched at all, just waved in. Definitely worth a shot

    The usual shameless festival plug

Stomptown brass playing speakeasy stage at 8pm today, for those who are into their brass New Orleans music

Ground was fine as I was leaving yesterday, but there was showers (including a heavy enough one) in the hours after the concert. I'd say you'll be okay with old runners though. It's what I'm putting on for today anyway.

Kendrick was superb. Absolutely fantastic. The crowd where I was were really into it which always helps. Him and the band seemed to be really enjoying themselves too.

I have no idea of the majority of today's acts so it'll be an interesting experience. Hopefully I'll discover some good stuff!

What was the transport situation like yesterday?

Heading tomorrow and still undecided whether to go on the LUAS, Dublin Bus or Marathon.
