Best way to customize Mozilla to be closer to Chrome

Google Chrome is giving me a bit of a headache lately, with times where internet just wouldn't work, but would on Mozilla -- so I'm thinking of making the move over entirely.

However I haven't used it in quite a while, so I have forgotten the best way to customize it.

The biggest thing I'm noticing lacking with this browser is functionality with Chormecast. Is there anyway to adapt it to work? I use a Chrome App called Videostream for Chrome, which is fantastic. Is there anything similar?

Have you tried reinstalling chrome?

As always my advice for people frustrated with chrome is to try chromium. If you're going to use firefox I suggest waterfox instead.

As for chromcast - I have no idea about it but some searches make it sound like it's possible but quite difficult to get on firefox. Here's some results I got.

Seems like Roku is some kind of equivelant? Excuse me if I'm wrong, I really don't use these things so I wouldn't know. Good luck.
