Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

4th spot would be exceptional and that's even unlikely

A chance yeah but imo won't have enough this season to get it

    5 minutes... Farce.

Newcastle have been time wasting from their 1st goal kick

Surprised at the sturridge criticism on here. Or at least the extent of it.

Has barely played 90 mins and scored twice since his return.

Sometimes your own performances go against you in the form of increased expectations.

More like Martin o Neill circa 15 years ago when Elliot used to go up front

Think that's why Rodgers never trusted Lucas. And Allen .

Silver lining is it pushes Villa closer to relegation.

Fair play to Newcastle, deserved the 3 points. Liverpool did do anything today to merit getting from the game. Roll on next week

Whatever about Liverpool's performance I find it amazing how Newcastle have been poor all season and then play like maniacs today.

It will be close, not shown the one you want yet though. I think he was just on from the best angle shown.

Tbf, don't think even McClaren himself would have expected to win the title in his first season

What the **** is Martin Tyler talking about? "Celebrating being above Sunderland". I don't think any Newcastle fan will care about that as both sides are in the relegation zone FFS.

Nonsense, win today and they would have right up there. Much as I would love to see Leicester winning it, they are in a false position. A top four finish for Liverpool is highly probable given that Chelsea are done for. Spurs will flop later in the season like they always do. Carragher believes they are title contenders too and he knows a thing or two about LFC and football in general. They bookies have them third favourites too.

Finally some character and a team that isn't pretty but hard working. I can get behind that but we need to replicate these performances more often.

Brilliant performances from Mbemba, Dummett, Wijnaldum and Anita in particular.

The only people I;ve heard think Liverpool cvould win the title were me and Eamoon Dunphy. And I was on drugs.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

Can you really use the spurs flopping argument in relation to Liverpool?
