Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Markovic goal for Fenerbache. Ugh

    Against Celtic, that barely counts.

It does if you want Ajax to go through. Won't happen now.

This game is awful. And not much action in the others either.

Firmino has been terrible. He has been a disappointing signing to date

So far, I've been more impressed by Lazar to be honest. Firminio is like the pitch tonight, firm, with the ball bouncing off it and unpredictable bobbles.

Still hoping he can start to show us more and I think with Coutihno playing he could.

Hopefully just come away from the game with no more injuries.

Christ we are horrible to watch

I find the PL extremely boring to watch this season. Leicester , arsenal and city the only teams that play exciting football on a regular basis.

Football is fickle. This time last week it was all praise for how we were playing.

Robbie Growler eating Swiss cheese for breakfast. I think that covers all bases from the past fortnight.

    Firmino's gone full The Pie.

It's like watching one of those corrupt Italian games from the 80's where both teams had to play out a draw or members of there family would be killed by the Mafia.

None of the players want to be on the pitch tonight.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,594 ✭✭✭kingshankly

    Only positive has been smith

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,948 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

Was always going to be this kind of game, a draw and both sides are happy sure. More concerned about how we perform at the weekend.

Also Firmino hasn't been great so far but I've very little doubt that he'll be one of our best players.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,404 ✭✭✭✭Vicxas

Very drab, but we've really nothing to fight for here so why push it?

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,328 ✭✭✭Magico Gonzalez

Great second half for me....got a very welcome 45 mins of festive snoozing in.

Like Germany Austria in 1982, and I think Denmark Sweden played a very suspicious 2-2 draw a few years back as well.

Depressing thing is we had a very strong side out tonight

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,366 ✭✭✭✭8-10

All set up for Dortmund in the last 32

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,397 ✭✭✭✭Turtyturd

A damp squid but I suppose that's what happens when you're good enough to qualify from your group before the final day, or at all.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,337 ✭✭✭✭monkey9

    Group winners. Get in!!!!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,395 ✭✭✭✭Utopia Parkway

Awful game but job done. No injuries I think. Europa parked for a couple of months.

Wouldn't call it depressing myself, we just topped the group.

Most squid are damp at least, due to living in the water. A squib on the other hand, you don't want to get wet. ;)

    Well done Liverpool.

Not a great game but got the result required.
