Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Moving departments in Big 4

I am currently working in a big 4 firm and want to move to the audit department from the department I'm currently in. I've already worked in audit in another firm and the audit department is looking for people. I have only been in my department 10 months as it is.

Who would I contact about a transfer, my boss? The audit boss? Or HR?

Not sure how to go about it without upsetting anyone

You can contact your appraiser and/or the HR department and ask them how to apply. It doesn't matter how long you've been in your department, if you want to be in audit then apply internally :)

Its far more likely than a move in the opposite direction pre qualification.

What stage are you at with exams etc?

Best place to start would be with your performance manager or partner, rather than HR.

    Hi there,

I'm in the same position as original OP, so just wondering if the OP's request was successful? I was thinking of asking HR informally (via telephone call/chat) if there was any openings in audit, when training's on etc and then ask the Partner in my department for the transfer (as he'll have to approve it).
