New Bank Account AIB Fees

Hi we are setting up a new bank account for our business. We are changing over from sole trader to Ltd company and hence the need for a new bank account

Our bank manager said we would be entitled to 2 years free banking on this new account. However because we would be lodging over a certain amount of money we would be better of getting a discount of 20% on all fees as there you are only aloud to lodge up to a certain figure for free banking

It was like nailing jelly to a wall to get the exact fees. I have sent him a direct email looking for the precise figures

Has anyone heard of this, it is not like I don't trust Bankers !!!!!!!!!

‘Offer’ means account maintenance and transaction fees as described in the Booklet will be waived for two years from the date the Account is opened, excluding cash handling fees. Cash handling fees incurred up to a maximum discount of €100 per fee quarter will also be waived for the two year period. The Offer does not include Service Charges or Government charges and stamp duty. Details of all fees and charges are set out in the Booklet.
