House alarm and power cuts

Hey, We bought an apartment last year. The agent never know the code and we are not really interested in using the alarm(can't stand them!) Just wondering if we have a power cut will the alarm go off even though it's not "on"? Just worried it will and we'll have no way to turn it off. It's a Secure Watch Hkc. Cheers!

I'd recommend you get an installer out to disconnect it because eventually it will cause trouble if left unserviced.
