    Hi,
We are moving house and the new owners, who are Family, want to keep Eircom as a Service Provider and sign up to a further 18 month contract. The existing contract has 8 months outstanding and an alternative service provider is in place in the house we are moving to so we have no need to transfer the account.

How do we organise so that the new owners sign up for a further 18 months without incurring cancellation fees on the outstanding 8 month contract?

    Thanks,
    Mark.

    Hi galwayred82

If you are seeking to change ownership of the account there is no way the cancellations fees can be avoided in all honesty. As you committed to the contract the contract will apply if you are not bringing the service with you. I understand you mentioned that there is already service at the other premises but that would not activate any clause to your existing contract. The cancellations team would be able to arrange amendments to ownership and they can be contacted on free phone 1800303600.

    Thanks
    Al
