Technical pens - gift advice

I want to get a gift of a set of Technical Pens for a landscape architect as I'm aware he needs them (circa €50).

I know nothing about these, nor what the best sizes are so would this set for £30.77 be a good buy? I know it says "College Set" but I'm sure that's just marketing and the quality is fine for professionals.

Yes, that's a good brand, and the pens are suitable. The 'College Set' tag is basically related to the packaging and assortment of instruments contained in the box, as there is a huge range of Rotring products available. The 0.25, 0.35 and 0.5 pens are the most commonly available in these sets, but if you can find one with a 0.18 pen in it, that might be better.
