Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    5th Place Play Off
Dec 16th Club América (MEX - CONACAF) V TP Mazembe (CON- CAF)

    Results so far
    Play off

Pretty cool to see a Japanese and Chinese side in the semi final. They'll most likely end up in the 3rd place playoff which could be huge given it's in Yokohama. River Plate vs Barcelona final could be a nice spectacle too.

Goal! 1-0! It's Messi, on occasions like this it can only be Messi, the world's greatest footballer gives Barcelona the lead, this man always steps up.

Sublime moment of play courtesy of Messi right at the end of the half, his back to goal, a defender touch tight he manages to twist away from his marker, sprint beyond him and, moving at high pace, plays the most perfect defence splitting pass to the forward run of Suarez, only downside was Suarez scuffing the finish. It remains 1-0

2-0. He's been the best player thus far and he's responsible for this goal, he breaks up the play near the edge of the box, gains possession of the ball and plays a perfect lofted pass to the onrushing Suarez who makes no mistakes with the finish. Nobody does what Busquets does better than Busquets.

Freestyling, in vintage Barcelona fashion, has begun. I'm not sure there's a better sight to behold in this world.

Hahaha yes just a bit, but I must express my joy somewhere and there's no enough characters on Twitter to do that.

Goal! 3-0, it's magnificent. Neymar's cross could not be better and Suarez simply can't stop scoring. Barcelona are on the verge of being crowned the best club team on the planet.

The south American fans always create a great atmosphere . Can't see anyone stopping Barcelona that front 3 is incredible.

In the Yokohama night, Barcelona have shone bright, their unique brand of football on display once again for the world to marvel at. The cultured beast that is Pique, the sheer control that Busquets and Iniesta exert over a game, all leading to the heart-wrenching brilliance of Barcelona's fabled front three of Messi, Neymar and Suarez. From Kenya to Ukraine, from Hangzhou to the beaches of Rio de Janeiro, Barcelona are the greatest team in the world, the dominate world football.
