Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Man Utd would be more than enough of a challenge for Pep were he to take the helm to be fair.

City are clear bookies favourites, not that it means much really but I would expect him to end up there.

If he wants a challenge he should try get Villa to win a second European Cup.

Tom Cruise might be a better fit for Villa at the moment. :o

The hatred and the negative vibes towards Guardiola in this thread is incredible. It's the same dislike that seemed to follow his Barca team, who were one of the best teams to grace a football pitch. I don't get it to be honest! He's done a great job in his two jobs so far, the only slight being he may not win the CL with Bayern, but that could still change this year.

I think it's more a dislike of the hype and nonsense associated with him than any particular dislike of him.

We'll settle for winning a game . . . that will be enough of a challenge for him.

If he wants a proper challenge the United job is a great opportunity. Maybe he's already signed an agreement with City, who knows.

I'd echo the thoughts about the suspicions as well - I found it strange how Barca's level and even the international teams level just dropped when the media stories broke out. I know in all likely hood nothing was going on - but I still think it's fair to be at least somewhat suspicious given his past at Brescia and links to that doctor. I know you could probably disprove a lot of this with stating certain time lines and what not, but it was a big talking point at the time.

Maybe I'm just bitter United lost those 2 cup finals though. :)
