    Yeah, that's definitely the bit the journalist should have focused on. Not the fact that her partner choked her and slammed her head against a wardrobe.

    Was it okay for her to slap him? No. Was the slap serious enough to merit a prosecution? Almost certainly not. Do reactions like this post do more harm than good to a discussion of domestic violence? Absolutely.
