    Whereabouts could you get a couple of bags of turf in or around Letterkenny?

    Sorry, no idea myself but they can be got. Maybe check the likes of The Dealer or the notice board in Tesco or watch out for anyone going around with a tractor/van/car and a trailer on tow carrying the old fertilizer bags. :)

    Donedeal appears to be the place - a lively and lucrative trade in turf is carried on there

    JayCee's Centra on the Long Lane does turf. I think it's something like 3 or 4 euro per bag with a discount when you buy a few.
