A quick question. Due to the poor weather at the start of the month, Ryanair had to cancel flights and re-book people advising to keep receipts of meals and hotels. This was sorted mid-afternoon.

On the Ryanair Claim Form it says "Breakfast and Dinner Only" - does this mean Lunches are not covered or snacks? What exactly are classed as 'meals' and 'refreshments', is it known? The claim form from Ryanair doesn't mention refreshments but it appears this is covered under EU law?

Give details, were you delayed more than three hours, what was the flight length in kms.

I'd say it depends on how long you were waiting. I would consider a mid morning 'elevenses' refreshment to be a reasonable expectation if you were there for an early morning flight but if you're just snacking out of habit/boredom (which many do) then I doubt you could reasonably expect the airline to cover that.

It was a 6.30am flight to Lanzarote which the airline agreed to cover hotel and meal expenses. So just wondering what exactly is reasonable - two meals a day max just not breakfast and dinner.

These expenses are being paid, as per email by Ryanair. However, they have advised it will be paid in Sterling - not Euro. Despite the flight being to and from a country using the Euro. Surely this isn't being reasonable?

Well did you buy the tickets in sterling or euro?

Expenses in Euro. Flights were not reimbursed as booked alternative flight (originally booked in Euro).
